Carnegie advised Polaris in the divestment of Skamol to FSN Capital. Skamol was established in 1912, and is today a leading global developer, producer and supplier of energy-saving, high temperature insulation products. Skamol develops, manufactures and markets thermal insulating materials for heat-intensive industries and passive fire protection. The company has sales representatives worldwide and production facilities in Denmark and Russia. In 2012, Skamol had revenues of DKK 303m and EBITDA of 77m.
