Carnegie acted as joint bookrunner and adviser to European Energy in its EUR 60 million bond issue. European Energy develops, finances, constructs and operates wind and solar farms.
The primary sources of income are the divestments of wind and solar projects and also the sale of electrical power from fully or partly owned operational wind and solar farms. Another revenue stream derives from asset management of wind and solar farms for institutional investors. Since 2004, European Energy has realised a portfolio of around 800 MW consisting of 65 wind farms and 29 solar projects with a total investment volume of more than EUR 1,000 million.
